Technological approaches to the use of diatomaceous earth as a raw material for creation composite adsorbents wastewater treatment from phosphate ions are analysed. It is shown that developed surface diatomite can be used create granular adsorbent, and iron (III) oxides (magnetite, goethite, lepidocrocite, ferrihydrite, hematite goethite) environmentally safe, cheap, economically feasible modifiers.
